Society Membership
What is a Society Member?
A Society Member is typically a parent or guardian who has a child registered at Fort McMurray Christian School and is in good financial standing by paying their annual Christian Programming Fees.
Individuals without a child enrolled at the school may also become members by registering with the Society. This allows community members to support and help shape Christian education in Fort McMurray through the Wood Buffalo Society for Christian Education.

Voting Member
Each year, the Society holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM), where important motions are presented and decisions are made regarding the direction and investment in Christian Education.
We believe God has a meaningful plan for the students in Fort McMurray, and your voice, ideas, and contribution shape our objectives and execution.
To be a voting member at the AGM, you must:
-
Meet the membership requirements outlined above
-
Pay an annual membership fee of $50.00
-
Agree in writing to the Bylaws and Educational Vision (Schedule A).
While everyone is welcome to attend the AGM, only members who meet these requirements are eligible to vote, there is only one vote per household.
